everyone who has expressed interest in the scale group buy should receive a test email, if not PM me. with eight people i propose that we each chip in $110 and mike gets the discounted entry since it was his idea and he'll probably be the one who picks them up.

Considering the complexity of the setup and taking into account that my driveway is on a down slope from my garage, there's no way I can push the mustang onto the scales, my only option is to drive on. That said, I think I may rethink this one and drop off. I thought this would be fun to see how the mustang was corner weighted, but w/ no coilovers for adjustments, all I'm doing is spending money to see how much the car weighs. Also, the last thing I want to do is f-up a set of high dollar scales for folks that actually need to use them.

My apologies for bailing, but I think I'll let the folks that can actually use these scales buy in.

OK, so I'd like to see one more person interested ... or one existing person willing to front the extra cash until someone else signs on.

Yes, perfectly level. I just went throught this process a few months ago so I can work alignments. Used a large level and 0.125" 4x4 metal plates. That way I can put salt or grease between two of them to act as a slip plate for alignment settings.

I'm excited! New suspension is due in shorly and will have to corner weight it!!!

Mike, did that email ever get sent?

I'll pay an extra $10 to not nickel and dime Donnie. That's a nice set of scales and a good price already, especially with the storage box.

I got email from Mike about possible times to pick them up this past weekend, but never heard back after giving him a few. Not busting on him, but posting here just in case he never got MY email. I'm guessing something came up and/or none of my times worked. FWIW, I'm holding them for you guys until at least after the holidays unless you say NOT to. I'm gone Sunday through Tuesday afternoon, too.

i've pinged mike several times over the past two or three days, no response which means he's probably just busy. if i were a bit closer i'd pick them up myself. donnie, if you find yourself in north raleigh anytime soon ping me and we'll hook up. appreciate you holding on to them.

Sorry guys I kinda "forgot" that I was having a screen porch built starting today, had a bunch o' stuff to get ready over the weekend, including busting up a concrete slab ... by hand ... with a sledgehammer. Good fun.

So yeah, Donnie, they're sold. Thanks for holding them! :)

Hey for the other purchasers, I'm totally overcommitted these days and I really have no specific urge to be the lead on this, anyone else want to be the "organizer" and go buy the scales from Donnie? If not that's fine but you will have to put up with my priority list :)

I'll send my check today.
Can we put together a quick document that says this is a group buy for the scales.

List the item description and purchase price.

Then list all parties and their address/contact information. This way everyone knows exactly who is on the list and how to get in touch with them.

Here is my info.

If you want to offset the price I know 3 more people who would be interested. I just saw this thread today so I am posting late. I understand if it's too late.

at least two people have sent checks to me already, and there are probably several others waiting for me when return home. adding more people at this stage is a little problematic but i won't rule it out just yet. let me get the current "members" taken care of and we'll see.
