I need to replace one of my radiator hoses since the original molded hose does not fit properly after a readiator upgrade. Anyone know of a local-to-Cary performance shop that sells generic high performance hose by the foot? The hose has an id of 1/4 inch. I found some stuff on-line but the shipping cost is greater than 2x the cost of a foot of hose. The total cost is not that high but I refuse (at least for now) to pay more for shipping than for the product itself.

Thanks, Chris

Try this place.
I picked up new signal hose for the RallyX timing equipment here a couple of months ago. It looks like thay have every kind of hose possible

that place is "interesting". I used to have to buy some silcone hose from there for my last job. I remember walking with the guy through the warehouse to find the stuff and him telling me "look real careful before you pick up a hose, we've seen snakes back here from time to time".

They have damn near everything though.

I've never considered a radiator hose 'high pressure'. :?

It may not be, but I figured I'd cover all bases just to be sure.

Yep, that was the ticket.

Subaru replacement: $9.00
innernet deal (1ft hose): $3.99 + $9 shipping/handling
Raleighdurhamrubber: Free, gas useage ~$2 but it forced me to take a lunch break :) I actually left the guy a buck to buy himself a soda for his efforts.
