A coworker is looking at a 2002 Corvette. There have got to be a few good sites to get some information from regarding what to look for.

Also, if there are years/models or any other info you can think of, that would be helpful. I don't know that he'll ever race the thing, but would still like to help him out. Thanks!

Though not the best laid out website, there is a ton of info here, if you dig around and find it. Lots of model info.

CAC is a good site for the model info. CF is the best site for most active community. Lots of reading. You have to wade through it though and do your homework. www.corvetteforum.com

On CF in the C5 General Section look at the sticky. There should be a buyers guide as to what to look for. 2002 models are fine from my opinion. Owned 2 of them now.

also corvetteactioncenter.com and corvette forum have information on model years, number of builds options etc. The CAC is more of the waxer forum

I had power steering leakage when I tracked the car, due to insufficent cooling. not an issue with Z51 and Z06. Put it on a lift and check the transaxel seals for leakage, it's about a $2000 repair. And by all means go to the
