I think I know the answer already, but I thought I'd float the question here to make sure I'm not throwing out usable rubber. It is the front passenger which took a beating at Rockingham. It appears okay for light daily driving, but I figure it is not worth the risk to track the tire even if I rotated it.

Hard to tell from the small pics you posted. Is there cord showing, or did it just kind of chunk and overheat?

No canvas. Just chunked and superheated.

I'd run it on the street, but keep an eye on it for chording.

Was that on the inside of the tire? My experience has been Rockingham + toe out = really bad inner tire wear.
