As some of you know, I've been battling this problem ever since I got the brilliant idea to 'improve' the handling performance of the ITR...

I 'unlowered' the car a year ago because the problem was so bad and have just unmodded the rest of the suspension - stock wheels and rear sway bar are back on-board. What I found is that each, and every one of these modifications (lowering, wider rims w/wider offset, bigger rear bar) made the 'exit push' problem worse. And this wasn't just a little push - it was more like the LSD was locked up with both wheels spinning and the car heading straight off the turn... I was able to maintain perfectly neutral behavior in all cornering phases with the mods except when using the go-pedal..

My conclusion is that the LSD doesn't like to be messed with !!! Perhaps it is that each mod shifts weight from the outside front to inside front wheel that is causing the LSD to 'lock' more than in stock form. Makes me wonder if / how anybody is able to successfully modify a car with an LSD (particularly FWD) to avoid this problem.

When did the car start understeering? Did you change all that stuff at the same time?

My money is on the rear sway bar or some sort of malfunction with your right foot.

You can drive my R during fun runs in Greenville if we have them to compare. I'll forewarn you about the 10 year old shocks though.

The ITR is such a capable car in stock from the best two upgrades are Millenia wheels @ 11lbs. apiece and a set of v710's.
