Title pretty much sums it up.

Looking to get an enclosed trailer, 20-22ft, but need to have some 'custom' items/options on it hacing to do with doors and such. I know plenty of folkshave gotten custom open trailers, so do the same places offer enclosed?

Contact Pete Calhoun at Pace American. Pete is a CM and FF racer (see cover of latest Sports Car) and is the marketing manager for Pace American. When I was "dreaming" about an enclosed trailer Pete indicated that lots of customization was possible and there is/are good nearby dealers (Burlington comes to mind).

Donnie Barnes hooked me up with Trailers of the East Coast out in Mocksville. They did not have the specific Pace trailer in stock that I was looking for. But they did locate one and had it there in 36 hours with no delivery charge. Pretty nice people to work with.

Of all the trailer dealers I spoke with, I might recommend the guys in Raleigh that sell Hualmarks, because they were pretty up front. But if they did not have it, it was hard for them to get it.

Stay away from the guys in Burlington. A bunch of yahoos. Plus they are pretty expensive. To get my trailer from them, it would have run $2000 more than Trailers of the East Coast.

i went with a Homesteader brand trailer. a little off the beaten path but i like it. it has a few thousand miles on it and no problems. tires wore out but had i rotated them that might not have been an issue.

Ervin Rigsbee in Knightdale is the local distributor. i have purchased two trailers from them. they seem to have some of the best local prices i have found.
