The 330i needs rear brake pads, so I figured I would do them all. Also when my parents had it in for service the last time they told them to replace the fluid which I usually do any way. Do BMW require any "Special" brake fluid, I have always used Valvoline Sythtech and had good luck with it, or is there a BMW labeled fluid I should be using. Are there any tricks that would make my life easier?

Thanks!

The brake job is completely straightforward with no tricks needed that I can think of. Any DOT4 fluid should be fine. I usually use either ATE or Motul 600 in my cars.

For a street car anything off the shelf is fine as long as it's replaced every 2-3 years. If you care about the car stick with a reputable can of stuff. ATE Typ200 is my choice for damn near everything I own. Black Forest usually keeps it in stock, I just picked up a can this week for my 330.
