I bought my current 5er knowing it had taken a slight hit in the left rear quarter panel. The price was good for the mileage on the car and the repair was decent, so I buought it. I've added some after market wheels to get rid of the basket weave 15's and put on a set of 245x17 kumho's.

The problem I have now is with people in the back seat and the offset of the wheels, I get tire scrub on the left side when I hit any modest deflection in the road surface. I need to pull the fender out about a 1/4. This will also align it with the back bumper.

How should I attempt this? (this should get some good answers....)

Mark Cooper, you out there? I understand you can roll fenders. With 90k on the car now I guess I could also replace the struts/shocks to lift it slightly.

Mark either does the work for you, or you can rent the tool at $50 for a week. It's pretty easy to do if you work slowly. With the current temperature, I would warm the area with a hair dryer first to make sure that the paint stays happy and intact.

This is what the NASCAR teams use. Crude but effective.
