I've got one and have used in many times setting pinion pre load.
But, I'm not coming to Raleigh and I doubt you'll want to drive to Greenville to get it. If someone is making the trip, you are welcome to use it. Mine a Snap On.
Be sure you get a new crush sleeve. You'll need a 250 ft/lb torque wrench too and something to hold the pinion yoke.
Used bearings don't have much preload. Ease up to the correct pre load. It isn't a good idea to be too high and try to back down to 12 in/lbs or so. It can mess up the bearings.
I'm sure you will have the new pinion seal, pinion nut and use loctite on the nut. Our rear ends are bad about leaking.
