I just changed the front brake pads on my truck 3.0L V6 and the ABS light is on. It did not read a code on the scanner at the Auto Parts store and the guy there said on his the code went away after he bled the brakes. (I hadn't gotten around to that yet.)
Went home, bled the brakes, still the light comes on. Any thoughts? Brakes work fine, good pedal pressure, no lockup when I slam them on, I can feel the ABS pulsing.
BTW do not ever buy EBC brake pads. They suck. I have about 20K on them and they were down to the backing plates. Actually the right one was past the backing plates.

This compares to the 60K miles I got on the original equipment pads.
