Does any one have access to the part numbers asscoiated with the Toyota 5FSE motor? Or where I can locate them?

I am thinking of getting a 95 or newer motor for the MR2. If the numbers from later years match the 93 number, it is a legal swap.

I always just call up the dealership parts dept. If you got part numbers for the whole engine, I doubt they would be the same. There are probably some major electrical/electronic differences. But I don't know that for sure. What are the advantages? I thought they were rated as the same HP?

You might contact Matt Murray (Evolution Discussion and Team.net). I recall him mentioning he worked in a Toyota dealership and it seemed like he still has lots of parts info.
