If you've been thinking of buying that "lightweight aluminum racing jack" from Harbor Freight now is the time. I just received a sales paper and it's been marked down to $129.00! 8) Ask anyone who has one, it's definitely worth that price. It would make a nice X-mas gift, though you'd probably won't receive it in time. :(

They have one for $99, not the same as the $129 one, it has different specs....caveat emptor with ANY of these.

This thread is going on 3 or 4 other lists I'm on.

I'm holding out for the Sears jack, which only takes 2 pumps to lift to full height and only costs marginally more. It is $179, and Sears usually puts things on sale for about 10% off every now and then.

No Brunnhoelzl for me. That's overkill. ;)

2 pumps? Ouch. Mine is three and it's annoying sometimes.
