when i swap tires around for track, the pressures can be wrong, and that will make the car undrivable, also, are the treads one way only, or both way for directions, if theyre directional only that can make a huge diffrence as well.... not so much in the dry, but in the rain the car will be spoooooky

Just wanted to post and say thanks to Jeb for all the effort. The newest tire (either 3rd or 4th we've tried; I lost count) doesn't pull like the first and second (& 3rd?) did. It does make the STi pull very slightly if it's on the front, but I think it's because of tread depth & LSD action at this point. I put the wheels and tires on the 2.5RS & put the new tire on the left front so that it would hopefully even out eventually without rotation - that's the quickest-wearing corner. (and the open front diff doesn't cause the car to pull to that side at all)

So now I need another set of tires for the STi... with matching diameters. :roll:

I was glad to help and glad that we got to the bottom of it for the most part.
