Hey y'all - John Lofaro called me today and regrettably has to cancel this dent day. Seems that the hailstorms that came through last week have him and his guys in extremely high demand for the next few weeks with their regular customers -- he says that just all of Cary Auto Mall and lots of dealers in Fuquay need them for the next few weeks.

I will be calling him to reschedule later in the summer. Sorry and stay tuned!

We're on for Saturday, June 3rd, 9AM-noon @ Hubcap Heaven in Cary. John is flexible and he can bring several guys depending on interest.

I'd like to schedule people by the hour, maximum of 3 cars per hour for right now. If we need to expand I'll do that later. Come prepared to hang out and possibly wait for a short while, but this has usually worked fine in the past.

Sign up by responding to this post which hour timeslot you'd like. Also let me know your second choice if you are flexible. One timeslot per car.

Dent Day is turning into an annual affair. John Lofaro and his other guys at "Hail+Dent Adjusters" came recommended by Chip & Holland. Most of their work is at car dealership and they do excellent work. For those of you who weren't around for the last few, I'm pretty sure that everyone has been a satisfied customer. His prices are around $40 for a simple single dent to about $80 for a whole highly dented panel to maybe $150 to make a lot of improvement to a messed up car. He'll assess and quote a price. These guys are artists -- it's amazing what they can make disappear -- but they do no paint work, so don't bring a wrecked car expecting it to be repaired. I've seen him "improve" some minor crash damage though. They will pass on major creases that they won't be able to improve much.

PS - John says he prefers cash. Cash always has higher bargaining potential!
PPS - I have no business relationship with this place except being a very satisfied customer who appreciates what these guys can do

This is completely off topic, but want to let you know that I have signed up my 2 sons for the street survival in June and I've told Brian that I would help instruct or what ever else he needs help with.

Have you posted this event on the forum??

Glad you guys are putting this on, I think this is a great learning experience for my sons....
