Windshields OE or not. In the shop I work in we use primarily Pilkington/LOF or PPG for our windshields. We can also get Sekurit (sp?) or Sigla for German cars. These name brands are made to the sames specifications as OEM. Sigla or Sekurit is OE for most BMWs. I find that the Pilkington glass tends to be slightly smaller than the others and sometimes causes the moulding around the sides and top to not fit as well. I also prefer to bring the car to the shop during the rather cool weather we are having now. I have done a number of 3, 5, and 7 series BMWs. Give us a call at Ever Ready Glass 851-0721.
