i'm in need of more tech talk (and things to do at work :P ) so lets talk about our cars, the mods, the plans for it, etc, etc. id like to know more about different cars, etc.

I have the red R32 w/ CAI, chip, RSB, konis, H&R springs,.. and.. poly dogbone bushings. i think thats it. i dyno'ed it once and got 222 4whp. oh and i'm running -1.5deg of camber up front and -1.0 in the back.. best i can do w/ factory parts.

the only other thing i have in mind is a lightweight Braille battery. 37lbs off the nose of this porker can only help.

but i dont really care about me, so lets hear it.

Silver STi. -1.8 camber front, -1.0 camber in back. 26mm front sway. Oem tires, 225/47/17 for now. Will go wider next year. Changing my springs soon. Engine management and custom tune with just a catted downpipe. The rest of the exhaust will be changed out on Monday. I'm keeping my Hp and Tq quiet as the other cars in SM are probably throwing down > 400 hp and Tq at the wheels and I'm not in the 4xx range. :)

EDIT: my memory is horrible. I found my alignment specs last night: my front camber is -1.2 and the rear is -1.4.

are you in the 3xx range at the wheel?? no way... w/ stock boost. what do STi's put down stock? i have 230ish in mind, but dont know. what kind of gains are acheived w/ exhaust? or is it primarily a spool up speed thing?

how do you like the front bar? no changes to the rear?

were you able to acheive that front camber w/ stock parts?

^^i forget my whoopass every time, doh

1985 Van Diemen RF-85 Formula Ford 1600. Has about 115 HP on a good day.

Runs in C Mod (when I take it out of its nice garage :D )

Anticipated Mods for 2006:

Fresh tires (Hoosier R25A slicks I assume) since the current set was first run on 9/11/2001 (seriously) at the Solo II Nationals.

Change Oil, check stuff, etc.

Wake up driver and take Geritol (aka Gene Miller . . . may he rest in peace :( )

See if I can beat SS, AP, DM, etc. cars for TTOD

I'm more of a simple pleasuRes type of dude, so if my car is running smoothly, getting me to and from work & autocrosses, I'm happy. I guess that's the beauty of running a stock class with a car that has decent shocks and brakes to start with. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to have around 220 (all-motor) at the wheels.

I do have a few plans:

-Saturday morning at 7am I'll be installing another Honda radiator and be $300 poorer

-Sunday afternoon, install a new clutch release cylinder because my clutch seems to want grab whenever the hell it wants to.

-Most importantly, during the off-season I'll be buying some Kumho R Compounds, but for the next few races I'll be chasing everyone in DS with some $59 Yokohama ES 100's.
