Stephen, I think he is offering you a co-drive if you "can't find one"
Right Jason?

I almost went to look at an Integra last night that was half way to DSP....I knew that would have made Jason happy....but it sold. I accept the offer for the co-drive though....that is mighty nice of you.

Well, I have new springs on the way. Add a I little more camber in the front. I'm probably going to go to 14" wheels so that I can lower the car a little more, the new springs will help with that as well as a little fender rolling that will be happening this week.

If that darn money tree in the back yard would start growing, the rumored BRP intake manifold and auxillary fuel rail might go on the car. This is supposed to improve driveability and be worth 15 whp at the same boost level. But it results in much better ping resistance as well which would technically allow for a pulley change and boost increase. Of course with 15 more whp, I'd be at 230 whp which is considered the safe limit for a stock bottom end so not sure that I would risk increased boost. But with a built bottom end, I would have the all the componentry necessary for 275+ whp! Imagine how much fun that would be in a 2400 lb Miata...

Rodney, if you have not already considered these, new tranny mounts are a good idea too.

Already done the tranny and engine mounts a while back with stock bushings, so I'm good to go there.

ES is definitely gonna be fun! :D If you count my "K" package (stock converted to R package) that'll be 3 R packages in E Stock between you, I and Keith.

Chris, your list reminds me I need to get new stock boots with the right bump stops. I've been running the KYB boots and the bump stops are splitting from bottoming out. I also plan on replacing the motor mounts.

I've been running 225 width V710's this fall at VMP. Boy are they wide! They're beaucoup sticky, but I'm not getting as much footprint as I did with the V700's. I think I'll wind up having to flip them more frequently to get reasonable life out of them. I may go to 205's on the next set.

What size sway bar are you putting in? Have you got a roll bar in that car? You ought to put one in so you can HPDE. 8)

1" solid front bar...bought it off of wes...probably not the lightest, but fit my budget

i do plan on getting a roll bar, but a lot will have to do with how much we spend on christmas and how much i get back in taxes and/or bonus next year. i also have a glass back window which means I have to get a single diagonal...not too happy about that, so i may try and find someone to trade with.

i finally got my alignment figured out...the place i took it to maxed out the castor the wrong way....uh oh...at the non points event i felt like i was driving a chopp'a.

i was thinking about the 205's myself...do you know of anyone out there that has run both and has an opinion.

My V710s are 205s. Mainly because I bought mine about a month before the 225 was introduced. The 205 are stretched over the rim a little bit and they seem to have plenty of grip just ask Kevin he saw my runs at the NCAC.

Keith,

I think you're gonna be the man to beat in ES next year. You were smokin' at Greensboro on day 2. 8)

Chris,

I think you can get a M3 hard core double diamond for the glass window. I believe it will fit in the M2 ok. Check with Tom at Hard Dog. The short coming will be it has no harness bar across the bottom, but I think he sells a seperate harness bar. I think he currently has tabs on the M3 HCDD. They provide a single mounting point for harnesses of each seat. That creates a technical requirement issue. I believe the GCR calls for double mounting points which the harness bar provides. Don't take me verbatim, do a little homework. :D
