Mt 90 20V with chip upgrade from TAP1 has a spark knock, what octaine gas is recomended from my car? I have been running regular. I know the car has a computer but does it still need to be tymed or what? Does it have a knock sensor that should prevent this from happening?

There are very few chips which do not require the use of premium. Most likely the car is Moronic 1.x and therefore the chip (and ECU) control both timing and fuel.

Bummer, I bought the chip and didn't think to ask 'bout gas required. And yes it is an Audi 90 series Quattro 20V sedan.
