How difficult is it to put a 20V turbo in my 91 90 20V AUDI sedan? Anyone ever done it, do you know of anyone who has? And does anyone know of someone that can help me to do it?

People could help out better if they knew what kind of car.

No, it is a 4 valve head on the old Audi 5 cylinder. A very strong motor with a rice rally heritage. My brother had a 200 TQ 20v and the engine was amazing, even in such a big car. With a chip it ran 20+ psi of boost without batting an eye.

Volvo's got some 20V I5's, but I don't know how far they go back.

I didn't know of any car called a 1991 90 20V until you clarified.

I hope you get an answer to your question. :)

Modern VW/Audi 1.8t 20v's run 20+ PSI on 9:1 or more compression.

But yes the Audi motor has a lot of hop up parts out there for it.

As far as how hard it is to put in a Turbo motor, are you asking about a I5 or I4 20v? If you are taking a I5 Turbo then it bolts in without any issues. Of course you will need its wiring harness and ECU as well.

It is a 5 cylinder 20V. in a 90 sedan. I am told that they(Audi), made a 20V turbo mainly for the Euro 90 cars. Some where shipped to the states and I think I can get my hands on one. I am hoping to drop it in my car with little mods. Just wondering what is in involved in doing it. Such as room for motor, wiring changes, wil tranny and drive system work?

Lance Russell of Quattro South in Asheville NC has done several of these swaps, both into coupe Quattros (the 2nd gen), 80/90's, 5000/100/200's, and even a quantum IIRC. It's a common swap although the parts are getting fairly rare these days. The easiest place to get a complete engine is from a 200 turbo -- trying to think back I think that's the only US car that came with that awesome motor.

For those who were in kindergarten in 1990: The Audi 20V turbo was an Iron block Aluminum head 4-valve per cylinder turbo with a proper separate wastegate. It was (is) capable of well over 600HP in race trim and is very streetable and easy to tune up to about 300HP with very little lag.
