Just talked to John Lofaro, the guy who owns "Hail+Dent Adjusters", a dent shop that came recommended by Chip & Holland, and who has done several "dent days" for us in the past. FWIW, they do a lot of work for CarMax as well, if that is any endorsement.

Is there interest in another dent fest?

We have 2 Saturdays as options -- Sat July 23 or the following Sat July 30.

Please show your interest in reserving a slot with a reply here, and which day works best for you (or vote for both).

If we have 10 people interested, I'll pick the day that looks like it works best. If we have 20 people interested, I'll probably ask him to do both weekends.

When the dates and times are set I'll post again taking approximate reservations. We'll probably do it at Hubcap Heaven in Cary like the last 2 times (if Mark says OK).

For those of you who weren't around for the last few, I'm pretty sure that everyone has been a satisfied customer. His prices are around $40 for a simple single dent to about $80 for a whole highly dented panel to maybe $150 to make a lot of improvement to a messed up car. He'll assess and quote a price. These guys are artists -- it's amazing what they can make disappear -- but they do no paint work, so don't bring a wrecked car expecting it to be repaired. I've seen him "improve" some minor crash damage though.

Personally, I'm planning on bringing 4 cars out if I can manage it.

PS - I have no business relationship with this place except being a very satisfied customer who appreciates what these guys can do.

Yes please. I've got 2 cars that need some fixing. AFAIK either day is fine for me.

Morning or afternoon.

the 2.5RS has a ding above the left rear wheel that it got with a previous owner - I'd like for them to make it go away

(nothing else needed)

Mike, the Miata has at least 3 dings I'd like to have worked on. The weekend of the 30th looks better than the other for me - likely I'll be out of town on the 23rd.

Thanks for starting this back up - I had volunteered to help with this earlier and with moving in progress things are getting dropped. If you need help with anything AFTER Laurinberg, let me know.

ps I'm only going to fix one of them. The cheap one came away unharmed.

Yes, both cars. Either day, probably an hour for each.

Thanks for putting this together Mike.

All righty, I think we have enough takers for at least one day, which would be the 30th.

I'll keep the thread active over the weekend so all the folks at Rham can weigh in ... if there is a lot more interest we'll just do both days.

So people keep replying so I can get a total count to decide.

I'm interested for the 23rd (wedding to attend the 30th). There are two dents the come outwards from the rear quarter panels. Looks like something was rattling around in the trunk. Can he do those, or just the standard inward dents?

I'd be interested in having a couple minor dings fixed in the Miata, but I'm out of town both those weekends. :(
