My son's Outback's transmission decided to blow its fluid all over his parking lot. What with the suspicious noises and behavior he has decided to replace it. Our experience recently in changing out his clutch has proved the worth of a real transmission jack. We were balancing his transmission on a couple of consumer jacks, bits of wood and the rubber end of my mallet. Not a lot of fun.

Does anyone have a transmission jack that we can borrow or rent, possibly next weekend?
