That is funny, the fact that you call slide rules "rulers".

I would wager that most of the posters on this thread do not know how to use a slide rule. I have not used one since the 70's. :D
I bet Dick R has used one in the past.

Has the price of R-134 caught up to R-12 which has been dropping? In the R-12 days you could hot rod you cooling system by giving it just a little spritz of R-22. If I remember corectly R-22 has a higher drop in tem when going from liquid to gas state compaired to R-12. This is assuming similar conditions otherwise.

if nothing else that just shows how lost I am in this thread. (damn engineers :P)

Just picked up a few cans at Wally World for $5.68, by far the cheapest I have seen. It will be interesting to see if the price goes up or down from here out.

Maybe I should buy a few cans. that would garantee that the price will drop in the future. Such is my luck. Actually I bought a 30# jug with a friend 2 years ago. :D

I know what ya mean. I was standing there in WalMart wondering, "ok, how many cans do I need to buy so I won't make the price go up or down?" ;)

I actually bought 6 cans, I want to keep 3 on hand and I'm holding 3 for the club in case the bus needs them and the prices go up too much.

I considered it a bad sign that PepBoys was completely out of stock.
