Not for how well it handles cutting steel (put my sawzall to shame), but for how freaking cool the shower of sparks looks. Taking 1.25 coils off of E28 535is springs for Project SO2 earlier tonight:

That looks more like an angle grinder than a die grinder.

Yeah, I've got an angle grinder on my X-mas list (before I saw the picture).

I've had a 4" die grinder for about two years now. Anything that can shave a 15/16" swaybar to a 3/4" bar is all right in my book :) - AB

I bought a rather expensive Hitachi one a couple years ago for shaping my sunroof plug. Well this past weekend, Graham and I used it to cut the factory traction bars off his Excursion.

These things kick the arse of any sawzall I've ever seen. Good stuff.

When I first saw this I wondered who took the photo and then saw the comment about tripod, timer, etc.

I can only imagine my wife rolling her eyes at me if I said "Honey, you just gotta take a picture of me using this!!"

Oh, I must buy one now. :P

Yes that is an angle grinder, not a die grinder.

The best tool known to man. I have 2, just because. And what is it about guys making sparks and wanting to have pics of it? Cuz I have several of me as well :D

Very cool pic. I too, pictured Mike dragging Kendra out to the garage "honey you've gotta take a picture of this. It's the coolest thing ever"

Ok, this is just screaming for everyone to post/link photos of them and their angle grinder and/or other spark/fire creation tool in action!
