I have a friend that is looking for somewere local that does good head work (p&p etc...). More specifically for honda's and imports. We know of a few out in California, but he's really looking for somewhere local.

He has had tried THOFF's before so I'm looking for other suggestions.

Any ideas?

Bill Koff is a Psychiatrist and also a club member. Oh, wait, wrong kind of head work.

I used Cylinder Head Specialists in Wake Furrest on the BMW. Several folks have also used them recently. Not sure if they can do the polish. They are cheap.

Dennis Shaw has a shop next to Krause & England (near the Airport). I don't have Dennis's direct shop number but K&E's is 919 781-1871. Dennis knows LOTs of engines even though most of his background is in Mazdas. I've seen him doing porting, etc. on a variety of new and old and vintage heads. He knows his stuff.
