Looking for some Nissan Expertise. Now that I finally upgraded my exhaust (thank you R&J), I am hoping upgrade my intake. Was looking at the CAI by Injen Technologies. Curious if any of you have experience with the KA24DE and could recommend this or another system.

Thanks for your input
Chris

p.s. ... I usually can't figure out which end of a hammer to use, so home-made intake is really not an option. Because this is my daily driver, I am better off investing the $$$ to get a proven intake vs. one I tried (probably unsuccessfully) to make.

Your basic options are AEM, Injen, or get one of the $30 Ebay kits, paint the pipe, and replace the junk filter with a K&N filter.

Anyone know where to get good shifter bushings, motor mounts, and trailer hitch for a '95 S14? Thanks, Aaron

Shifter bushings??? The shifter goes straight into the tranny, so I'm not sure which bushings you would be referring to.

Thanks Jason... Good point on the shifter bushings too. Ok, then what would cause a massive amount of slop in an S14 shifter and is there a way to get rid of it? Thanks, AB

There probably is a bushing around the pivot point. I've never paid attention since mine seems to be in pretty good shape. I have never seen an upgraded bushing forsale. You can buy short shifters which I would assume would come with a new bushing. Otherwise, it's probably a dealer part?

Here's a diagram of the shifter, maybe it's one of the two bushings circled in red?

Did you get a 240sx? If so, let me know, I have a PDF you might be interested in.

It's not mine, it belongs to the guy I co-drive with. We've contemplated at throwing a SR20DET Redtop in it and running SM in the future, but just want to get it running right in stock form. His shifter has so much play, you can't imagine. Otherwise it's a nice car. We put rear shocks in it at the ProSolo this past weekend, and it really transformed the handling. I guess a 159k on stock shocks is too much ;)

I'm just aiding as a the wrench for his project. He has the mammoth PDF you speak of (which includes all of the 240sx years if I'm correct). I just wanted to find out if anyone knew of an aftermarket maker of the bushing prior to getting violated at the dealer. Thanks for your help Jason. - AB
