I need new shocks for the minivan, and selection is limited for a 2010 Mazda 5. I'll probably go with the KYB Gas-A-Just for the rear, because those are great shocks for the money and I do love the feel of a monotube, but they don't make them for the front, only the GR2/Excel-G, which is a mushy piece of junk. I can get Koni Sports, which aren't horrible, but those are very expensive and arguably not worth it for the minivan. My two current candidates for the front are a Bilstein B4, which is a mediocre twin-tube OE replacement shock that's a bit overpriced, or a Sachs OE replacement, which I know nothing about except that it's a German company, which is generally good for quality/performance, and the price is reasonable, which is generally good for my checking account.

So anybody use Sachs shocks before and what did you think?

They make OEM replacements for BMW. We are using them on our ChumpCar / LeMons E36.

Thanks, I think that I'll give them a try.
