Anyone (close by) have a serpentine belt removal tool for a 2006, R53 mini cooper? Seems Jordan has fallen victim to the ever popular crank pulley failure as he has the classic symptoms of the P1688 code, burnt smell and limp home mode. Wanted to work on it this weekend if possible. Will know better tomorrow if this is the problem.

I've got one, just not close by. If anybody is heading your way via Gvegas let me know.

Thanks for the offer Cline. I talked to Jordan and he has plans on keeping the car, so he ordered one. Should be here in a few days.

Hey Rodney let me know if you ever need a certain mini tool....I have some special ones here at the house! I also have an arrangement of OEM parts laying around if you ever need something in a pinch!

Thanks for the offer Zack, I think we're good for now. Had to replace the harmonic balancer on the mini. Not a fun job, but it's done and the car seems to be running fine for now (knocks on wood)
