Could anyone recommend an alignment shop in Cary that charges reasonable prices and does good work? This is specifically for a 2004 Cadillac CTS but I want to develop a relationship for the long run.

I've always dealt w/ performance chassis. You can get any spec alignment settings you want from stock to what ever the car has to offer.

Yep, Performance Chassis here also, I think they charge $89 for a 4 wheel alignment. They do charge a little extra if you want some custom alignment and suggestions from them. They do great work though.

Performance Chassis is not only the best place, but they are a tremendous supporter of THSCC.

I always hated going to an alignment shop where they just say "ok, done" and give you your keys back. Did you actually do anything? How do I know?

Performance gives you a clear print out of "here's how bad it was" and "here it is now". As in, "here was your car with only .1 degrees of camber before, and here it is back in MUCH better shape". As John said, great supporter of THSCC as well. They are under new management recently, but the quality of work hasn't changed and it runs much the same as it did before. Excellent shop.
