What color are you going for?
Go to a paint shop and order the right paint for $50-100. Borrow a HVLP gun (mine or other) and do it better than rattle can.
I actually have a gun and compressor and used the dulicolor premixed stuff, but it never hardened enough. If I order the custom paint in a quart, do I need to add hardener? I can use some good advice here as I want this to turn out right. I know I can go the pro route, but I'd really like to try this myself. If I screw up, I'll go the pro route unless I can find someone that can paint it for $200.
In regard to prep, what do I need to do and NOT do? From all the shows I've watched, seems they prep w/ 800, then primer, then paint and then wet sand w/ 1000-1200. From there a nice polish.
