Posting for Mark Musser (former THSCC member).

Mark has a e36 325 and needs to fix an issue with his Vanos. He's looking to see if anyone has 3 BMW tools that he can rent/borrow.

11 3 240 Camshaft Lock tool (Must have)
11 3 390 Tensioner Locking tool (Nice to have)
11 2 300 Flywheel locking tool (Nice to have)

Please let me know if you have these tools or if you know somewhere they can be rented/borrowed.

I don't have the tools, or know anyone who has them locally.

If he has some time and a piece of scrap plywood or other thin wood, he can use this diagram to make a cam locking tool:

EDIT: Apparently this guy is local (Raleigh) and rents all sorts of BMW tools. Looks like the tools Mark would need are ~$35 to rent from him.... http://www.bimmertoolrental.com/ (no affiliation, no clue who this guy is....)
