I bought an aftermarket cruise control kit, modified specifically for the Spyder and looking for someone to install it. Other than Auto Acoustics in Durham I'm having trouble finding a place that install one. Any suggestions in the area?

Thanks,

Eric

Maybe call around to some of the other stereo shops. Audio Express has been there for as long as I can remember - I bought a head unit there nearly 20 (!!) years ago. Thats where I would start.

If you want to DIY it, bring it over sometime and maybe you and I can tackle this in an afternoon.

Eric,
Sorry this is off topic, but wanted to say "Congratulations!" on an impressive win in ES this weekend. Did the car feel as good as your times make it look?

Hi Karl, thanks for the offer. It looks to be a fairly hateful job so I'm happy to pay someone to get this one done :-)

Thanks Steve! Considering we had just finished the shock and custom exhaust install two days prior...and had never run on the Toyos, it was better than expected. Still, I couldn't get the car to rotate, which is critical in making that car go fast, so it needs some tweaks. I felt like I drove OK, but there was definitely time out there, especially when you look at Feinberg's times. With all that said, it was a fun and successful weekend.

Chris, the girls, and I are off to the Blytheville Pro this weekend, so we'll see how the car does on concrete. Looking forward to it!!

Eric

Eric, I don'r have a shop recommendation, but they are not that hard to install. I've installed two of them in cars and recently adapted a car cruise kit for installation in my Moto Guzzi.

It's alot of wiring and a little fabrication, but not rocket science.

Good luck,
Cash

There is a question I have to ask though. Is what Cash considers a 'little fabrication' impossible to the rest of us?
