This is a pretty specialized question, but there are some pretty knowledgable Miata folk around here...

I've installed the big (for a Miata) Jackson Racing sway bar kit on my '91, but I'm getting quite a bit of metal-to-metal scraping on each end of the bar. It's making contact with a bracket holding the ABS sensor wire. It's a little tab on the upper A-arm. The bracket seems to be a bit larger larger than the tab.

The bracket seems to be a bit larger larger than the tab, so I've taken the dremel and a file to the bracket. I've managed to take off 2-3mm of material from the contact area. I'm just not sure that's going to be enough under the extremes of auto-x and track driving. Suggestions?

After grinding away metal and bending the brackets away from the bar, I have a workable solution. Clearance is still tight, but it doesn't make the horrible metal-on-metal screech from before.

The real answer (for anyone that's interested) is to purchase adjustable length endlinks from a Miata vendor like Goodwin Racing or Racing Beat. The stock endlinks are definitely not designed for a front bar as large as the JR. The stockers are too long, and place the bar too close to the aformentioned bracket and the front subframe.

Oh, and does anyone know of a local vendor where I can buy some polyurethane bushing grease?

I can probably get by with 1 of those little containers, but 2 would be perfect. I tend to overcompensate with bushing grease. Too much is almost enough...
