I'm looking at a Subaru Outback for my daughter. It has "rumble" which sounds like something in the front end but it appears when you are decelarting like it is related to the fuel/air system. Any ideas?

Take it to Janko for an inspection. Sounds like the transmission, from your description.

I don't really know anything about it, I'm assuming that is a failure point.

Time change keeping me from sleeping so doing some interweb searching leads me to thing it might be a H6 tensioner. I think I'm going to pick it up next week and check it out.
