Just to be clear, I didn't do the work on the ND.

I did do the Mazda2, my NA, Hashim's (now Chad's) NB, and the Accord. I need to track down a misplaced box, but I am open to doing exterior work if you guys want to trust someone who just read some stuff on the internet.

Any thoughts/opinions on a different, but OP-related question would be great....

The lower sills on the S2000 front fender, door and rear quarter are slightly offcolor compared to the panels (originally white) and I am unsure how to proceed with it. The involved surface is irregular, (I can't think of the correct term), covering the bottom 3" or so of the fender and door panels.... likely from a debris/rock-guard coating, maybe? I first noticed it when some sweat/sunscreen stains formed by the door where I hang my leg out in grid prior to standing up from the car, and it appears to have progressed a bit since then. It now nicely offsets the OE replacement passenger front fender, so it's become noticeable enough to require attention.

My approach was to wash, claybar and then use a medium-coarse polish compound like Griot's #2, followed by a finer polish. Does that seem reasonable?
