Great stuff Andrew.

I'm not allowed to post in the thread anymore though, I was getting 403 and 404 errors earlier. Weird that it works now.

Question for the experts:

Do pads "age out?" I have used the same set of pads from 2010, and they look just like new and feel like the same texture. Is there a number of uses or length of time interval for replacement?

Not that I've ever seen. Unless they start to come apart on you, I say use them indefinitely.

Detailing never ends:

Final product:

Paint wasn't that awful to start with, so only had to break out the Ultimate Compound for a few panels. Working with metallic paint was a bit weird, but it turned out alright.

Reviving a year+ old thread with some factory/dealer installed options:

And fixed:

This time around I took it to a professional down in Huntersville and had it coated for a bit more robust protection. Bit expensive, but the car looks great. Next up: tint.

It's been mostly good so far. Just picked it up from club favorite John Marcum for some tint.

Can't wait to get my ass handed to me in CS.

I need a detailer. Like someone to actually do the detailing. I have a box of Zaino I haven't even broken the seal on. I knew there was a reason to have kids....
