I'd like to add a little performance to the mazda 3 and some sound. From what I understand, you can add the mazda speed3 exhaust to the standard 3 and gain a little HP along w/ some sound. The current exhaust is SO quiet.

I've found one locally I'm contemplating buying, but it will need to be welded in. Anyone have any recommendations on a place to have this installed? If you're jones'n to practice your welding skills, I'd be happy to let you install it, just let me know what you need in regard to compensation.

I know R&J is a club supporter, do they do good work?

Go the Henry's. R&J is too high IMO. Henry's did the work on our Prelude and does good work.

Where is Henry's located?

IIRC, they have more than one (two I think) location. Hopefully Stephen will chime in as he set it up and has also had Henry's do work on his Integra.

To VK's point, which one did you go to? I see 1 on capitol and 1 on millbrook.

I've used both. Millbrook most recently. Both are a little shady looking but either would do a good job. If I had to pick, I'd try millbrook.

I've used the shop on capital. They do good work and are easy to work with.

I've used both Henry's locations on numerous occasions and have been very happy with the price/work.

I can also recommend Henry's on Capital.

Ask Jason Mauldin which one he'd go to, then go to the other.

That's solid advice right there.

I've always been to Henry's on Capital and have never had a problem with them. Assholes!!!!

I have also had good luck with RJs on capital. Not to be confused with the club sponsor.

Rodney,

You always do things the hard way. Take a clue from the BMW Z4 development team:

p.s. Guess who got one for his BRZ! http://www.soundracer.se/?p=98&p2=505

I had the speed3 exhaust welded in by Bob's muffler here in Garner. $60 to remove the old exhaust and install the new, not a bad price. I said I wanted some sound, but wow, I think I got a little too much now. Have to drive this for a few weeks and see if I get used to it.
