Took the car in today, decided to go with aftermarket headlight housing instead of OEM so that I can afford 2 instead of 1, and went with an aftermarket OEM style fender. Found a slightly cheaper door skin, and got the total bill down the $3478, right around the same amount the check thats being written to me. I might have to get a Racing Beat rear sway bar to celebrate :).

Sweet! Good luck on a speedy repair and glad you're keeping it Brice.

It's always a good thing to get the insurance company to issue you the check versus paying the repair shop. Plus, sometimes they'll take a tad longer than the 'promise date' (which I found doesn't carry a lot of weight) and knock off a few dollars for the trouble.

Come to think of it, you could probably request to get the good headlamp back (cough:ebay:cough) since you're replacing both.
