HELP! The detent or kick down cable for the slush box on the e30 has sprung a leak (bad O-ring) and I have a replacement cable for it. I have the pan and filter removed. I can see the cable, but can't get to it. My fear is I'll have to remove the valve body. Anyone done this? I'd really like to get this car up and running since the bullitt is going into the shop for rear diff work.
The bentley manual says to take it to a authorized transmission specialist. Really? Great help there. Looked on line at some of the e30 forums and not much help there. I have no clue what will happen if I remove the valve body.
I'd appreciate some help here please....
