Wipers work on every setting but intermittent. Switch or motor?

Inclination is switch but dunno.

I know less than jack about GM's, but if it works on all except intermittent, that tells me it's NOT the motor.

as a former gm windshield wiper engineer (although i did arms/blades not motors) i think there's a circuit board on the motor assembly that controls the intermittent and parking functions. but it's still activated by the switch so a failure at either end could stop intermittent from working.
