I remember we had the bus alternator rebuilt by a shop, I'm thinking off 70 somewhere?

Anyone remember the name of that place?

Anders,

I don't know who did the bus alternator. However, years ago I used Alternator and Starter of the Triangle. 6304-B Westgate Rd (just off 70 on the left past McNair and Fix and Fly). 787-3157.

Alternators and Starters of the Triangle. They're in the H&T since they givea discount. 787-3157.

FYI, they did my MG alt and it was great. They did the bus alt and I think it only lasted another 2 years or so. So YMMV.

Yeah, 13 years later, is this still the place for alternator rebuilding?

No, they went out of business several years ago IIRC.

There's a place in Goldsboro that still rebuilds alternators, I've never used them though.

Actually, looks like 2 places in Goldsboro, one is called Goldsboro Starter and Alternator, the other simply Starter and Alternator.

That's all I've got.
