I need some tires soon to get me through the fall and winter seasons and my 14x6 alloys are looking kind of beat up. I'd like to burn up the tires this upcoming weekend and sand/media blast the snot out of them so I can paint them in anticipation of picking up some all-season tires. I know Rodney asked around earlier, but the search didn't turn up with anything substantial.

years ago I had 4 wheels blasted at T-Hoff (machine shop) for like $5 each. It was not what I consider "personal" attention to each wheel, they just stuck them in some sort of blast cabinet and flipped the switch- I had to touch up some areas that got missed, but all in all it was a decent job.
