Yeah, you going to the 9/11 triad event?

Image

Has a slightly conical surface so it seals on any ~2-3in reservoir.

Wasn't planning on it. I've only got enough tire for MAYBE the NCAC.

You work not too far from my house though if I'm not mistaken, not to mention my wife drives out to Duke quite frequently, I'm sure we can arrange something. Hit me up on PM and we'll work something out.

Worst worst case I can help you bleed yours if you help me bleed the Miata. It's due for fluid anyway.

He could have bought it for another car (like I did) which came with a specific adapter, not the universal one.

The BMW adapter, right Vincent?

I bought mine with that one, also.

Yep, bought it with the Ford/Subaru/Nissan one and gave that to Steve Carter when I sold the WRX. The Honda(s) use the universal one.

I bought mine with the Chevy specific adapter. I made my own adapter for the Miata. As s it turned out the Chevy adapter would fit my Mustang with the small addition of a thicker gasket. 8)

Are brake fluid reservoir caps air tight? I'd guess not otherwise there would be a vacuum created as the volume of fluid goes down as pads wear.

I was thinking of making a cap for the Hondas. Might be able to modify an OEM cap to make it airtight though.

Most of them have a one way valve in the top. You want them to be air tight otherwise a ton of moisture would get into the fluid rather quickly.

That's what I did for the Miata. It was a little involved, but not rocket science.
