Anybody have any experience with Headliner replacment kits? I can find them all over the internet, just wondered if some were better than others.

i've recovered a couple of headliners using headliner material from the local fabric store and spray adhesive from autozone. i'm not sure what these headliner kits you speak of are.

A competent fabric store should know exactly what you're talking about.

Ditto, that is what I used. Just get some paint that matches the color of the head liner. Seriously, no one ever noticed.

Funny story, apparently my daughters father in law ripped it and then duct taped it when he was borrowing the car.

So thumb tacks would be an upgrade from duct tape!

I haven't found a good fabric store in Greenville but there is a great one in New Bern that has lots of headliner fabric. If you are interested I can hook you up.

And before the peanut gallery starts in, I used to work at a car stereo shop in college so I had to frequent fabric shops for work.
