...is totally mangelled on my co-worker's '03 Acura TL. Apparently he was rolling it up and suddenly it sounded like a 'huge tree landed on the car'.

So, those with regulator issues (bimmer guys and gals :poke: ) is this a result of a failed regular most likely, if you can tell from the photos?

The cable apparently has dislodged itself and the cable housing has popped off the bottom cable ferrulle. We're hoping the noise was the cable and not the motor.

View looking down into the door. The barrel end is pulled off the bottom of the window and now at the top pulley.

ya looks like the cable either broke or slipped through the bracket. Either way a new regulator would be the way to go.

Plastic regulator housing is all cracked and the cable tore the tab completely...

Oh well. $100 drive to work today I guess.
