The tab of material that hold the widow zipper in my miata has given up the ghost. The top is fine, it just got torn and over time got bigger and then a tractor trailer litterally blew the windows off. The local upholstery shop just doesn't want to mess with it, crusty old fart.

Besides using gorilla tape to try to hold it together, I am looking at options. How much hassle to put a top on. Last one I did was an 1961 TR3A.

Don't try to be such and cheap a$$. Pay Sean and he could help you. He and his brother installed a new one in his Dad's Miata and it looked great.

Does your Miata have a roll bar? That makes a big difference in the difficulty. Without a roll bar its a bit of a pain in the ass, but not too bad.
