I am putting in a 302 into a 86' Jeep Wrangler. It previously had a carb'd 302 in it that has died. My co-worker picked up this 302 out of a 95' Mustang and it has all the sensors and exhaust manifolds. Does anybody make a wiring harness kit, or a conversion kit to run this as fuel injected?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Megasquirt!

There's some DIY to it, but it wouldn't be too bad...

Download the pdf version of the catalog and go to pdf page 102 (catalog page 198.

Google m-12071-a50 to find sources. Jegs has it for about $575.

Looks like it needs a bunch of other stuff also including a pcm.

Obviously a big $$$$ solution.

I suspect that there are choices of aftermarket EFI systems out there. Google, Jegs, Summit, etc. are your friend. :-)

Yep. Megasquirt should be cheaper than that. And likely better.

Thanks for the help! He was interested in the FI route because of efficiency and better overall running less the headaches of carbs.
