And while I'm on this topic, where do I order these "easy button" revalved Konis for the S2k from? And what do I ask for exactly?

Donnie, I got mine direct from Koni. You should be able to call Koni - talk to Lee Grimes - and ask for a set of shocks "like you guys made for Karl Shultz." Mine were actually the betas. Lee should be able to provide you the exact specifications for the ones Chris, Eric, and I run on. I'm nearly certain that Keith Vail's are also the exact same valving. Marc Pfannenschmidt told Koni to simply make his "as stiff as you can possibly make them," and I know that his were different valving.
Koni's lead times tend to be long, though, so if you're in a hurry, I'd look elsewhere. Don't get them from Truechoice - I've heard too many horror stories about them putting the wrong components in shocks and screwing the whole thing up. There's a shop located somewhere close to Infineon Raceway in California that can also build them. I believe their name is
Performance Shock. I think that's where Nick Jackson got his, and he was very happy with their service and turnaround time. If I ever send mine away to have them serviced, I'll probably send them there.
You're welcome to ask any of us (Chris, Eric, Keith, me) how we like ours. For me, I'm sure a set of Motons or Penskes would be nice, but I'm not convinced that they're "necessary." Moreover, since I drive my car on the street some, I'm fearful that a set of exotic shocks wouldn't hold up well. The "easy button Konis" have proven quite durable; mine are three years old with at least 30K miles on them.
