So with the typical format of two runs in the morning and two in the afternoon, there are really only two times to spray or towel (:P) V710's, right?

But I believe that we will be doing all our runs at once this year. :D

Quite possibly, but a lot depends on how many people show. There's a numbers game that Don likes to play, so depending on the event, we may run either format. We may just switch it up just for fun....

Cool, thanks for the help guys. I look forward to seeing you all in Laurinburg (or in Winston if anyone is coming to the Triad event the weekend before). My wife won't be at that one, just me killing my street tires though.

As far as heat is concerned, we plan to have 2 sets of tires and switch them between drivers at ProSolos. For Tours, I like the towel approach that Gwen mentioned. - AB

One thing I forgot to mention is that the time between runs at most Tarheel events is generally enough that casual spraying is very effective. That is usually independent of which format we are using as well.

If the event size is much lower than 80-90 people, then I might be worried about bringing out the towels with V710's. I might also think about it if you are running 2 drivers in the same side of the grid or at a site like Greenville where the grid is moving fairly fast (i.e. no A & B lines).

Rather than starting a new thread -

What a typical starting PSI? In my case 215/50-13 V710s on a CSP Miata.

Same question here, 215/40-17 on a 7" wide wheel. I was thinking start at 36?

Something that light, I would start at 31 cold all around and adjust for which end needs grip. - AB

Up front, yes, no more than 36 cold. - AB

Aaron's right on the money, as far as my Mini is concerned. I start cold at 35/36 psi in front. The rear is a little more dependent on the feel that you want. Higher=looser.
