Sam's Club has stopped carrying it for some reason; I'm not particularly looking forward to spending what Advance Auto wants for it at $28 and change for a six pack. Does anywhere else carry it for less?

Wes... you are in luck. I have two 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 I bought about two months ago that I won't be using. I paid $21 a piece from Walmart. I will sell them both to you for $40. They're both 5w30 and never been opened. I switched to Amsoil and no longer need them. I can bring them by your work if you want. - AB

Last few times I was at the Cary Wallyworld, they were regularly stocking the thinner flavors of M1 in the big jugs, but not the red-top I need.

(Huh huh I said big jugs)

Wallymart has the 5 qt. jugs for $19.96. Various flavors in stock, as Mike said usually just blue and green tops (5/10W-30).
BJ's is slightly cheaper, they sell the 6 qt. pack for around $23. I *think* I saw 15W-50 but can't say for sure.
BJ's also has pretty decent (relatively speaking) gasoline prices. Especially for premium. $40/yr. membership.

Check out Target in Garner. They were always about a buck/qt cheaper than Pep Boiz, et al. Can't say if things have changed since my relo to Green Acres, NC

If it was $19.96 per jug, then I need to lower my price :) Ok Wes, $38 delivered to your office ;) - AB

I'll cut him a deal, especially considering I don't use the stuff anymore. Otherwise, if someone else wants it, it's up for grabs. Just PM me if interested. - AB

I can actually drop it by today if you want. I'm headed to the Park after 3pm (working from home most of the day :) ), and could put it in the beater before I leave. You can email me at b1mmer@earthlink.net if that works. - AB

Ann just picked some up for me. Super WalMart in the new Bryer Creek mall. $19.82 for the big jugs :-) Not including the governors cut...

Plenty of 5W-30 but she found a 15W-50. She said there was 1 jug left. So hurry over there Mike ;-)
