Anybody (Ryan? Jason?) know where to get OEM replacement parts for these cars? Besides the dealer, anyway... I've looked at a few places online but nobody seems to have a very good selection. At this point I am looking for nearly all the cooling hoses in the engine compartment. I had a hose blow the other day and after disconnecting and inspecting all the hoses, they are all in pretty sorry shape. I'm trying to find all the little hoses running to and from the thermostat housing but all the online places I've seen so far only seem to carry the 2 main radiator hoses. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

I get mine from here:

conicelli

If you call them and they ask if you're a Club DSM member, the correct answer to that question is "yes".. ;)

Conicelli is a great place to deal with. They have most everything in stock and ship same day if you call before 2pm. Have you used the CAPS Parts program? Its easier if you know the part numbers of what you are looking for.

Generally takes 2 shipping days to get from PA to Greenville via Airborne Express.

It's on your cd.

It's the same program that the parts counter guy uses to look up parts.

Ahhhh. I guess I should look at that thing once in a while... :D

Actually, it has come in real handy considering the number of things I've already fixed on the car. I just didn't notice that part of it.

OK, fired up the CAPS program last night and got some part numbers. As my luck would have it, I found the part numbers I was looking for but I can't seem to find anybody that carries them online. It said that part #'s might be out of date as they change occasionally and I'm wondering if that is the case or the places I've looked so far just don't show them online.

For example, part #10711 is a little coolant hose that runs from the thermostat housing to the throttle body. I can't seem to locate that part # anywhere online. Is this the type of thing where I would just have to call the dealer (or the place mentioned above) and speak to a live person? In that case, hopefully their part # will match what I'm looking at otherwise it should be a real interesting conversation trying to figure out if we are talking about the same thing. It's too bad nobody sells a complete coolant hose kit or something...

Thanks for any (more) help,

Jim

Call Josh at Conicelli, he is a ROBOT with Mitsu part numbers. He will know what you want. His is a DSM'er not just some parts counter guy. Plus he has the most up to date version of CAPS.

Trust me, call Josh at the number above, you wont be dissapointed. If you would have called when you made the first post, your parts would be here tomorrow :phone:

Yeah our supplier only carries the main upper and lower hoses, not the little one you are looking for.
